This morning Anti-Racist Action Calgary organized a rally against racism and other forms of discrimination. The rally coincides with the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, which was Wednesday, March 21.
Normally, the white pride (racist) contingency march at the same time, but this year they skipped Calgary and decided to meet in Edmonton instead. Jason Devine, the major voice for Anti-Racist Action Calgary took this as a victory.
Today the Start to Photograph group did a different kind of Meetup. Andre, our rebel leader, posted a photo and we got to play around with our editing software. I call this one "A rift in the space/time continuum." I made a copy of the original photo, flipped it horizonally, added it to the original photo (opacity 51%), adjusted levels, and then inverted the whole thing. Too much fun!
